What are the member requirements to join The Hive?

• Families must have at least one child who is 5 years old or older

• Families must be legally homeschooling according to the State of MN

• Parents/Guardians must agree to and sign all of the expectations on The Hive Homeschool Community Culture Expectations form.

Anything else?

• A parent or guardian must be on-site at all times.

• The primary parent attending co-op is required to volunteer as a classroom aid and/or to teach for a combined 2 hours of every Class Day and as further needed in the case of volunteer shortage due to illness or absence. 

• The primary parent must volunteer in one Team Role for the school year.  Current teams include Class Days, Nature Days, Legal and Finance, Communication, and Member Engagement.
